Questions before you book
Pick a timeWhat happens on the call?
You describe the event, film or space you have in mind. John asks who it is for and when it has to be ready, then says what it would take and whether he is the right person for it.
Do I need a brief?
No. A sentence about the project is enough to book. If you have a floor plan, a schedule or a budget range, bring it.
Roughly what does a production cost?
John gives a range on the call, once he has heard what you are planning and before anything is agreed.
Can you work on site anywhere?
Planning, design, media and 3D happen in John’s studio, for clients anywhere. John scopes live production days venue by venue and agrees travel before anything is booked. Rigging, equipment supply, specialist installation and regulated work go to qualified partners, named in the scope.
Who owns the work?
The written scope says who owns what before work starts, including generated media, third-party models and the credits they carry. You and John agree source rights, brand approvals and a fact check before anything is released.
How soon could we start?
The first call can be 24 hours from now, on any weekday up to three weeks out. John sets the start date for the work on that call.
Rather write first? Send a brief
John reads every brief himself and replies by email, usually within a few days.
